0. Make sure that the Windows client is installed and correctly working.

1. Open a Windows File Explorer

2. Navigate to the folder that is one level above the folder you want to attach.

In this example I want to attach my phone's backup to SmartDrive.

This folder is located at: C:/Users/User/Documents/Samsung. This means I have to navigate to C:/Users/User/Documents.

3. Right click the folder you want to attach to SmartDrive & select [Attach this Folder to SmartDrive]

4. Give the folder an appropriate name and click [Finish]

You will see a window pop-up:

The time it takes to attach a folder to SmartDrive, heavily depends on the size it is.

When the attaching is finished, SmartDrive will give you a notification:
